Revolution Plus is tough on deadly parasites, one monthly dose treating and controlling:

Why do cats need protecting against deadly parasites?
Fleas are the most common external parasite affecting cats in Australia with the cat flea (Ctenocephalides Felis) being the most common. These small blood sucking parasites jump from the environment on to pets. A flea infestation is not only terribly uncomfortable for cats, but fleas can also carry disease. A severe flea problem can even lead to anaemia.
It is often difficult to find fleas in your cat's hair coat, as cats ingest fleas they discover while grooming. The most common sign of a flea infestation is scratching and excessive grooming, with hair loss. Some cats will develop an allergy to fleas leading to crusty red skin lesions.
